6th Grade Concert Band
Our beginning band students build a strong musical foundation as they learn to read music, develop tone, and play their instruments together for the first time. Itâs the perfect place to start your band journey!
7th Grade Concert Band
With one year of experience under their belts, 7th grade students sharpen their skills and take on more challenging music. This ensemble performs at concerts and school events throughout the year.
8th Grade Concert Band
Our most advanced middle school band, the 8th grade concert band focuses on musical excellence and ensemble performance. Students prepare for high school band through concert festivals and special performances.
Marching Band
The Rome Middle School Marching Band brings school spirit to life with fun performances at games, parades, and special events. Open to 7th and 8th grade students, this group combines music and movement in an exciting team atmosphere.
Jazz Band
Swing, funk, blues, and moreâJazz Band is where students explore new styles and improvisation. This select group meets outside of the regular school day and performs at concerts and community events.
